# Return Policy

## 1. Defective Products Only

MIDI Agent accepts returns and issues refunds exclusively for defective products. A product is considered defective if it fails to function as described due to a verified software defect that we are unable to resolve through a patch or update.

## 2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet all of the following criteria:

- The product must have a reproducible defect that prevents it from functioning as described.
 - You must report the defect to our support team within **14 days** of purchase.
 - You must provide reasonable details about the defect, including your system configuration, DAW version, and steps to reproduce the issue.
 - The defect must not be caused by incompatible hardware, unsupported operating systems, or third-party software conflicts.

## 3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will **not** be issued for:

- Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the product's features.
 - Issues caused by third-party plugins, DAW configurations, or user error.
 - Inability to use API keys or third-party AI services outside of our control.
 - Subscription payments for periods where the service was available and functional.

## 4. How to Request a Refund

- Your order or transaction ID.
 - A description of the defect encountered.
 - Steps to reproduce the issue.
 - Your operating system, DAW, and plugin version.

## 5. Review Process

Once we receive your refund request, our team will review it within **5 business days**. We may request additional information or attempt to resolve the defect through a software update before issuing a refund. If the defect is confirmed and cannot be resolved, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

## 6. Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method. Please allow **5–10 business days** for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
