How it works

From prompt to MIDI notes

Install MIDI Agent as a VST3, AU, or AAX plugin in your DAW of choice, or launch the Standalone app if you prefer to work outside a DAW. Open the plugin, type a natural language prompt describing your chord progression - include the key, scale, rhythmic feel, and harmonic movement you want. Adjust the length and complexity parameters, then generate. Drop the resulting MIDI onto a track, listen back, and iterate. Use the MIDI extension feature to extend sections once you find a direction that works.
